Description

The McLaren MP4-12C GT3 #5 D. Wauters – 24 Hours of Spa 2013 by Minichamps captures the aggressive character of McLaren’s GT3 racer in impressive 1:18 scale. Based on the #5 car associated with D. Wauters at the 2013 edition of the legendary 24 Hours of Spa, the model wears a striking black, silver and orange competition livery complete with detailed race numbers, sponsor markings and endurance-racing graphics. The MP4-12C GT3’s purpose-built aerodynamic package is faithfully reproduced, including its deep front splitter, sculpted bodywork, side intakes, rear diffuser and large fixed rear wing. Motorsport-style wheels, racing tyres and detailed exterior components give the model the purposeful stance of the full-size GT3 machine. Produced by Minichamps, the model combines accurate proportions with fine surface detailing and a clean display finish. The sealed body construction keeps the focus on the McLaren’s aerodynamic shape and distinctive race livery, making it particularly well suited to display. A strong choice for collectors of McLaren, GT3 racing cars, endurance racers, Spa 24 Hours models or modern motorsport, this MP4-12C GT3 is a striking representation of one of McLaren’s most recognisable customer racing cars.
